Q: Is the QuickBooks download the same as the regular product?
A: Yes. When you download QuickBooks, you get exactly the same QuickBooks software that comes on the CD-ROM. You just get it sooner!  Using QuickBooks requires 400 to 850 MB of free disk space, depending upon the version. After installing QuickBooks, you can delete the download file from your desktop to free up disk space. Also, if you are installing QuickBooks: Basic, Pro, or Premier, the installer gives you the option to auto-delete the installation files. Choose this option to free up additional disk space.
