Disk Space Requirements for Additional Software
- 70MB for Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 provided on QuickBooks CD and installed if necessary (Internet Explorer 7.0 supported when released)
- 150MB for Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Common Language Runtime, provided on the QuickBooks CD
- 9MB for the QuickBooks Timer

- Operating System Windows XP SP2 or later, 2003 server, Vista (with UAC on), Server 2008 (database only, not client)
- 4x CD–ROM drive
- Optimized for 1024x768 screen resolution, supports 800x600 using "Small fonts" setting in your Windows control panel display settings

- Microsoft® Windows XP or later OS is strongly recommended, see above operating system information for windows service pack recommendations
- Novell Netware server or Linux/Samba File servers can be used

QuickBooks is capable of integrating with hundreds of third party applications (see

for the most up–to–date list) in addition to the following standard integrations provided with QuickBooks. Additional RAM will enhance the use of these features:
- Preparing letters requires Microsoft® Word 2000, 2002, 2003, or 2007
- Exporting reports requires Microsoft® Excel 2000, 2002, 2003, or 2007
- Intuit Statement Writer requires Microsoft® Excel 2003 or 2007
