Get set up quickly and easily

The Time Tracker setup assistant walks you through each step to transfer information including employees, vendors and customer:jobs from your QuickBooks file. Select users from the list of employees and vendors, and schedule automatic email reminders.

Employees can start accessing the service in minutes

Each employee receives an automated email containing instructions and a link to the signup page. After selecting a password, they can log in through their Web browser1 to update, view, or submit timesheets.

Employees enter time in familiar formats — calendar view, timesheets

Employees select customer:jobs and service items from drop-down lists, enter their hours, and add notes as needed. They'll save unfinished forms as drafts, and when they're ready, submit them by clicking a button. They can even view all of their previously submitted time.

Start/Stop timer makes tracking time on a project easy

The built-in start/stop timer lets employees easily record the amount of time spent on each project. The elapsed time is transferred directly to the timesheet with a click and the employee can start tracking a new project.

Review timesheets online from within QuickBooks to stay on top of projects

The QuickBooks administrator can view all employee timesheets while they are in progress. Click View/Download Online Timesheets and you will see the timesheets of your employees. You'll never be in the dark about how much time is being billed for projects.

Download timesheets into QuickBooks

Click View/Download Timesheets in QuickBooks to see all of your online timesheets. Select which timesheets are ready to be added to QuickBooks, then click a button to download them for use in invoicing, reporting and other activities. You can edit timesheet data any time after it has been downloaded into QuickBooks.

Update settings, data and users at any time

Change Time Tracker settings at any time directly from QuickBooks. Click Update to upload the latest customer:jobs or service item lists. You can also add or delete time trackers or edit the Reminders schedule.
