How to sign up for Time Tracker
Sign up for a Free 30-day trial of Time Tracker or activate your paid subscription today. It's easy! Simply sign up right from your QuickBooks1 software.
- On your QuickBooks Home Page, go to the Enter Time menu and click on Learn about Online Timesheets to launch the sign-up page for Time Tracker. If you do not see the Enter Time icon on the Home page, go to the Time Tracking section of your Preferences and make sure that you have indicated that your company tracks time.
- On the sign-up page, click on Free Trial to start your 30-day FREE trial subscription. Or click Buy Now to activate your subscription.
Important
QuickBooks Time Tracker requires 2006 and later editions of QuickBooks Pro, Premier, and Enterprise. If you are using the 2006 version, it must be updated to the R8 Release. To check if you have R8 Release, follow these simple steps:
- With QuickBooks open, hold down the Control key and press the number 1 (CTRL+1). Use the number one key at the top of your keyboard rather than the one on the numbers pad to the right.
- QuickBooks will display a Product Information window. The first line of the Product Information window gives the QuickBooks product followed by the release. You should see QuickBooks for Windows Version 2006 Release R8.
- If you do not have the R8 Release, you can quickly download and install it from this Web site: http://support.quickbooks.intuit.com/support/productupdates.aspx
