The QuickBooks Certified User Program is designed to increase the QuickBooks knowledge of small businesses, making it easier and more efficient for accountants to work with their clients. It is perfect for in-house bookkeepers, or individuals who are looking for positions as an in-house bookkeeper and want to differentiate themselves in the job search. In addition, the program specifically offers training on a number of frequent errors that accountants have told us their clients make.

Is this the same as the Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program?

No, the QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program and QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certification are designed for accounting professionals who support multiple clients, and require an advanced and comprehensive understanding of the entire QuickBooks family. Whereas the QuickBooks Certified User Program is aimed at individuals who are looking to advance their career with QuickBooks and bookkeeping knowledge.

How can I get involved in training current or potential clients on QuickBooks?

We have provided a number of training tools for your use (see section above on “Tools for Accountants”) to help you prepare clients for this exam. They can also be used to help you train clients on QuickBooks outside of this program.
