Here are five time management tips to help boost your productivity.
1 Take a break
It may seem counter-initiative but sometimes the best way to improve your productivity is to actually take a break. It might be a 30 minute lunch break to go get some fresh air or it could be going the entire weekend without checking your emails. When you’re running a small business, it can very hard to switch off at the end of the day but it’s imperative you set some boundaries. Sometimes taking time away from your desk can do you wonders.
2 Turn off social media
Who wouldn’t love to get a few more hours back in their day? Well the good news is, you can. Simply turn off your social media. We all know how easy it is to quickly check your Instagram or Facebook, and before you know it, you’ve been scrolling endlessly for 20 minutes. If you want to be more productive between the hours of 9-5, seriously consider logging out of social media or even deleting the apps during work time.
3 Learn to work on-the-go
Life can sometimes get in the way of work, especially if you work from home. In order to maximise your time, figure out what work you can do on-the-go.
