Small Business: QuickBooks Online

QuickBooks Online (QBO) is the cloud-based accounting software designed for small businesses. With QBO, users can access critical business information anywhere, from any device. The software helps business owners take greater control of their finances with automated invoicing, payments, and payroll, and Good and Services Tax (GST) and Business Activity Statement (BAS) tracking and reporting – all from a single easy-to-use dashboard.

Choose from three separate plans:

Simple Start: Ideal for freelancers, sole traders or micro-businesses, Simple Start lets you easily generate quotes and invoices, manage employee payroll, and track and report GST from multiple devices.

Essentials: Suitable for service-based businesses or those with less than five employees, the Essentials plan adds automated invoicing, supplier management, billable hours tracking and multi-currency transactions.

Plus: Designed for larger trades, product-based, or manufacturing businesses, Plus can track multiple projects, branches, or locations, and inventory amounts and values, for even greater financial accuracy. All plans come with email, phone, and chat customer support, and free 30-day trials so you can try before you buy.

Freelancers and sole traders: QuickBooks Self-Employed

For a small monthly fee, QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) app delivers for self-employed business owners or contractors on the move. Users can connect the app to their bank account to easily untangle business and personal transactions and throw away their logbook with handy mileage tracking included.

The app also features easy invoice creation direct from the smartphone and simple receipts tracking for better organisation of business expenses.

Professional Accountants: QuickBooks Online Accountant

QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA) is designed for professional accountants and bookkeepers. Whether you’re an advisor eager to grow your practice or simply in need of a better way to manage existing clients, QBOA transforms the way advisors work with clients and teams.

Its features include 24/7 access to data and insights reports, with the option to customise reports to client preferences at the click of a button.

Users can create jobs, assign tasks, review deadlines and send and track client requests all from a single easy-to-use dashboard. And with ledger-level security, QBOA ensure client data is secure and protected.
