Direct bank feeds into Quickbooks Online with ANZ

1 min read

We’re very excited to announce our new direct bank feed with ANZ! A direct bank feed provides a more reliable connection with the bank, essentially eliminating connection errors, as well as duplicate and missing transactions. Best of all, there’s no additional cost on top of your QuickBooks Online subscription!

Direct Feeds are available to business customers using ANZ Internet Banking or ANZ Internet Banking for Business. If you aren’t an ANZ business customer and want direct feeds, please contact ANZ. We currently support bank accounts only, so for all other account types, please continue to use our standard feed*.

Signing up is a straightforward, 3-step process.

1. Log in to your account at ANZ.com.

Go to the “View Accounts” landing page (the first page you see when you log on to ANZ Internet Banking or ANZ Internet Banking for Business). If you can’t find it, go to the “Accounts” menu and select “View Accounts“.

Or, go to the “Update Details” menu or the “Internet Banking Settings” section to select the “Activate bank feeds” link and follow the steps detailed there.

 2. Next, log in to your QuickBooks Online account.

Go to the Transactions -> Banking page, and click “Add Account”. Select “Australia and New Zealand Banking Group,” and choose the direct feeds option. Follow the steps to set up your account(s).

3. After 3-5 business days, we’ll start getting banking data from ANZ.

Once the feed is established, we’ll have you answer a security question to verify your account. After you successfully answer it, your account will be fully connected.

If you already have an ANZ bank account connected, we’ll do the work to merge your current ANZ bank account with the ANZ bank direct feed upon verification. All you have to do is add the new ANZ direct feed account to the same Account Type in your Chart of Accounts as your current ANZ bank account for this to happen.

As always if you get stuck with this process, contact our Customer Care team from within your Quickbooks Online file to assist or refer to the FAQ’s.
