Mileage tracking available in QuickBooks

The addition of mileage tracking to QuickBooks is one of the most significant releases in recent times.

Being able to accurately record mileage for tax purposes is a  challenge many small businesses are faced with as they juggle multiple tasks. Without accurate records they find themselves not being able to claim with confidence.

QuickBooks now with mileage tracking enables users easily to track and identify business trips. Mileage tracking is available via the web and also on the mobile app, some of the key benefits include:

  • Automatically track your mileage
  • Easily categorise business or personal trips
  • Create rules to auto categorise
  • Add additional vehicles
  • Manually input trips

 

With mileage tracking now available in QuickBooks, this enables users to easily track and identify business trips, helping reduce the admin burden at tax time. This feature is available on both web and mobile versions and provides the flexibility to manage favourite locations, mileage rules and add multiple vehicles.

Note mileage tracking is only available to the master admin, if the file is provided via their Advisor then the master admin rights will need to be transferred.  This can be done without removing the file from wholesale billing.

Introducing the Business Performance Dashboard

 
Recently we released the Business Performance Dashboard which provides Advisors with powerful data enabling them to move beyond compliance and add more value to their clients.

The Business Performance dashboard is now available to all QBOA users. You can find the new dashboard when you click on the Overview tab and select Business Health.
 

What does the dashboard do?

 
The Business Performance dashboard will help you keep your clients on track using a more visual and consolidated view. There are currently two sections on the dashboard. We will continue to add functions and make improvements as we get more feedback.
