Enhanced bank feeds, easier reconciliation

Stay organized and save time with the latest enhancements designed to streamline data entry and manage documents. New and improved tools help your client books get reconciled with less effort—while you maintain oversight. 

• Get notified when there’s a missing payee: Ensure complete data is available when it’s time to reconcile with alerts for transactions posted without payees. 
• Easily find a specific account or card: Use search within bank transactions to find a specific account or card instead of scrolling through a long list.
• Add attachments with drag and drop: Drag-and-drop abilities for attachments are now available. Simply drag a file into a transaction row or into the transaction details to manage documents more efficiently with fewer clicks. Note: This update currently supports new transactions; dragging attachments onto matched transactions is not yet supported.

Better data protection and collaboration

Manual errors and lost data compromise the integrity of your clients’ books. These new features can act as a safety net, helping to ensure every entry is captured correctly and every communication reaches the right contact.

• Stress less about lost work with autosave: Work is autosaved on invoices, estimates, journal entries, time, and transactions. When leaving a page with unsaved changes, QuickBooks will prompt to save. This reduces the risk of lost data and ensures workflows continue running smoothly. 
• Send emails to the right contacts: It’s now possible to save multiple email addresses to a supplier or customer profile. When sending purchase orders or invoices, recipients can be easily selected from saved addresses with options to Cc and Bcc—all from a single profile. This ensures the right information reaches the right contacts.

Optimized app for business on-the-go

It’s now even easier for your clients to tackle business to-dos from a phone or tablet. The latest QuickBooks mobile updates focus on performance, clarity, and efficiency to help manage business from anywhere. Your clients can see all their key metrics on a single dashboard, review AI-powered insights in a dedicated feed, and navigate the app faster from the consolidated menu.

• More intuitive user interface: Experience a unified dashboard designed for on-the-go management. Key metrics and actions are consolidated into a single view, allowing your clients to review AI-powered insights in a dedicated feed and navigate more quickly from a consolidated menu. 
• A smoother way to handle multi-currency: Improved tools help your clients work smarter and more efficiently. And by moving the multi-currency module directly into their bank feeds and refreshing the sales tax picker and Transfer tab, it’s now more intuitive to move money and manage international transactions.

Better data for your most complex clients

As your clients grow, their need for deep insights and precise tracking grows with them. These latest enhancements—available for QuickBooks Online Plus and Advanced users—are designed to provide the granular data necessary to advise on long-term financial health. 

• More accurate inventory tracking: New improvements help your clients stay on top of their stock with greater flexibility and customization. They can now customize sales orders, link them to transactions, and convert them directly to a purchase order. Additionally, with the latest item receipt improvements, they can now accurately record inventory items the moment they arrive at the business. This lets your clients decouple inventory movement from money movement—updating their stock-on-hand without impacting accounts payable until they’re ready. Note: Available with QuickBooks Online Plus and Advanced 
• Map and validate project costs (coming soon): Create a detailed view of anticipated costs for each project with an estimate broken down by product and service. It’s now easier to compare estimates vs. actuals in real time, allowing you to see immediate feedback on project profitability. Note: Available with QuickBooks Online Advanced
• Model your client’s future financial position (coming soon): Generate balance sheet budgets to see how the financial decisions made today will impact assets, liabilities, and net worth over time. This allows for growth planning with a clear picture of long-term financial health. Note: Available with QuickBooks Online Advanced
• Better forecasting (coming soon): Improved forecasting will help your clients plan ahead by using past financial performance to identify patterns and estimate future business outcomes. With all their financial data in one place, they’ll be able to quickly and easily create forecasts and use them to generate more accurate budgets. Note: Available with QuickBooks Online Advanced

More tools for greater accuracy and less manual work

This release expands how AI automation shows up in your day-to-day work, introducing new features that surface insights, reduce manual tasks, and streamline key financial workflows. 

• AI-powered tax code suggestions (coming soon): AI will learn from historical data and bank transactions to suggest sales tax codes. All that will be required is to review and confirm, ensuring your clients’ books stay accurate.
• Streamlined client collaboration: Reduce back-and-forth with your clients while keeping sensitive data secure. As you reconcile transactions on their bank feed, you can request missing information through a secure portal and direct it to the right employees. That way, only the intended recipient can view and respond, rather than exposing requests across your client’s entire organization.
