3 Apps for Managing Your To-Do List

2 min read

Every small business owner has a multitude of things to do on a daily basis, and finding the right tools to manage these tasks and events is an important part of staying organized and productive. Your personal style of time and task management likely differs from others and the notifications, updates, and organizational tools you need at your fingertips often change over time. The right app can help you manage your to-do list so you can save time and avoid unnecessary errors, which can ultimately help you save money as well.

Google Keep

Google Keep makes the top of the list because it is an app that, all-in-all, most people find they can actually use easily. At the core of the app is the ability to easily sync and keep photos, checklists, voice notes, and texts, all of which are easily transferable across devices because the information is stored in the cloud. Some features of the app include color-codable notes, reminders based on time and location, and in-note photos. The app does not require you to set up any accounts and doesn’t involve the importing of any lists or categories. However, this app is only available for Android-device mobile users.

Wunderlist is another easy-to-use app; it’s as simple as the to-do lists you write by hand. You can quickly establish lists, adding and subtracting items with one click. You can also move items from one list to another or set tasks to recur on multiple lists and at scheduled times.Wunderlist is also notable for its sharability Through email, you can invite family, friends, co-workers, and even clients to view and collaborate on lists with you. The Pro version of this application – which involves a per-user monthly fee – provides you with further collaboration tools, such as attaching files, assigning tasks, and live chats. Like Google Keep, Wunderlist easily syncs across all of your devices, which makes it an ideal choice if you are constantly on the move or have to switch from one device to another on a regular basis.

Any.do is one of the most highly praised apps for to-do list management. It’s easy to sync across your mobile devices, it runs on iOS and Android, and it easily handles location and time-based reminders and recurring tasks. One of this app’s most handy features is its daily Moment, which offers you a brief run-down of all of the items you’ve listed for each day. The app efficiently manages multiple priorities and also shows you what’s on the list for today, as well as what’s on deck for the following day and later on in your schedule, which can prevent you from being overwhelmed by due dates, times, or tight scheduling. Managing your to-do list is important, but if you choose the right app for the job, you can eliminate hassle and stress, making your work day more efficient.
