As background to our research post about Entrepreneurship and Canadian Millennials, Intuit conducted two separate studies that contributed to the report and infographic. For the first study, Angus Reid surveyed 1,002 Canadians about how likely they were to want to create a business in the next year. This study took place from August 28-29, 2013 and is considered accurate within +/-3.1%, 19 times out of 20. The second study took place with 1,003 aspiring business owners (464 millennials and 539 34+). It was conducted between September 6-10, 2013 and is considered accurate within +/-3.1% (+/- 4.6% among millennials; +/- 4.2% among those 34 years+ ), 19 times out of 20.
