New updates to QuickBooks Online introduce powerful functionality to help keep your business running smoothly and with less effort. Featuring enhancements across core workflows—from improvements to bank feed automation and mobile experiences to expanded capabilities supporting better inventory and financial management. These updates are designed to help you stay connected to your data, reduce manual work, and operate with greater clarity across operations.

Enhanced bank feeds, easier reconciliation

Stay organized and save time with the latest improvements designed to streamline your data entry and manage documents. New and enhanced tools support cleaner bank feeds allowing you to reconcile with less effort. 

• Get notified when there's a missing payee: Ensure you have complete data when it’s time to reconcile with alerts that let you know when transactions are posted without payees. 
• Easily find a specific account or card: You can now easily search for the account or card you’re looking for without scrolling through long lists. Simply search by account or credit card to jump straight to the right account.
• Add attachments with drag and drop: Streamline your workflow by dragging and dropping files directly into bank feed transactions for an easier way to manage your documents. Note: this is an interface update. Attachments can be added to unmatched transactions but are not yet supported for matched transactions.

AI that powers your books, your decisions, and your collaboration

This release expands how AI automation shows up in your day-to-day work, introducing new features that surface insights, reduce manual tasks, and streamline key financial workflows. 

• Streamlined accountant collaboration: Reduce back-and-forth with your accountant or finance team while keeping sensitive data secure. As they reconcile transactions on your bank feed, they can request missing information through a secure portal and direct it to the right employees. That way, only the intended recipient can view and respond, rather than exposing requests across your entire organization.
• Tax code suggestions powered by AI (coming soon): AI will learn from your company’s historical data and the bank’s transaction description to suggest sales tax codes. All you’ll need to do is review and confirm, saving you time and effort. 

Stress less about unsaved work with autosave

Your work is autosaved on invoices and estimates, and will soon be autosaved across projects, journal entries, time, transactions, and more. When you leave a page with unsaved changes, QuickBooks will prompt you to save before you go. That way, you won’t have to worry about lost data and your business can continue running smoothly.

Send emails to the right contacts

Now, you can save multiple email addresses to a supplier or customer profile. When it’s time to send purchase orders, invoices, or other communications, you can easily select recipients from your saved addresses and choose who to Cc and Bcc—all from a single profile. 

Optimized app for business on-the-go

We've made it even easier to tackle business to-dos from your phone or tablet. The latest QuickBooks mobile updates focus on performance and clarity so you can manage your business from anywhere, more efficiently. 

• Optimized app for business on-the-go: Experience a unified dashboard designed for on-the-go management. See all your key metrics on a single dashboard, review insights in a dedicated feed, and navigate the app faster from the consolidated menu. That way, you can make more informed decisions, faster. 
• Improved battery life: Mileage tracking is now more power-efficient, so you can log every business trip without worrying about your phone’s charge. This update ensures the app runs smoothly in the background while preserving your battery for the rest of your workday. 
• A smoother way to handle multi-currency: Managing international transactions and money movement is now more intuitive. With the multi-currency module located directly within bank feeds and a refreshed layout for the sales tax selection section and Transfer tab, complex tasks are streamlined for better efficiency. 

New ways to manage projects, budgets, and inventory

As your business grows, your need for deep insights and precise tracking grows with it. These latest enhancements—available for QuickBooks Online Plus and Advanced users—are designed to give you a detailed view of your performance and the future of your business. 

• More accurate inventory tracking: We’ve introduced improvements to help you stay on top of your stock with greater flexibility and customization. You can now customize sales orders, link them to transactions, and convert them directly to a purchase order. Additionally, with the latest item receipt improvements, you can now record inventory items the moment they arrive at your business. Note: Available with QuickBooks Online Plus and Advanced
• Map and validate project costs (coming soon): Create a detailed view of anticipated costs for each project with an estimate broken down by product and service. Saved right in your project view, it’s easy to revisit the estimate as work progresses to compare your estimates vs. actuals in real time. Note: Available with QuickBooks Online Advanced
• Model your future financial position (coming soon): Create balance sheet budgets to see how the financial decisions you make today will impact your business’ assets, liabilities, and net worth over time. This allows you to plan for growth with a clear picture of your long-term financial health. Note: Available with QuickBooks Online Advanced
• Better forecasting (coming soon): Improved forecasting will help you plan ahead by using past financial performance to identify patterns and estimate future business outcomes. With all your financial data in one place, you’ll be able to quickly and easily create forecasts and use them to generate more accurate budgets. Note: Available with QuickBooks Online Advanced

Build stronger customer connections with the Customer Hub

The Customer Hub helps you manage client interactions in one place. Now in beta, you can design and send professional, personalized proposals and simplify approvals with built-in-e-signatures—making it easier to turn prospects into customers.**

Coming soon, Customer Hub will include appointment scheduling beta that lets customers and leads book phone or video meetings with you directly in QuickBooks, helping reduce back-and-forth and keeping scheduling connected to your existing workflows.**

We’re introducing Intuit Intelligence chat beta, a new conversational experience built directly into QuickBooks that’s designed to change how you understand, manage, and act on your business performance. Rather than searching across reports or switching between tools, you can ask questions in plain language—like “How do I turn more leads into sales?” or “What’s my projected profitability next quarter?”—and receive immediate, data-backed answers tailored to your business. In addition to surfacing insights, Intuit Intelligence chat can also deliver personalized recommendations to help you make decisions faster and take action more confidently.  

This is just the beginning. Intuit Intelligence chat will roll out in phases, expanding how automation, insights, and expert guidance work together to help businesses operate more efficiently and stay competitive.**
