People are bombarded by an influx of emails every day. Sometimes time spent on dealing with these emails are better spent on other activities, such as working on your business.
One way to improve your email productivity is to reduce the number of emails you receive. You’re probably subscribed to some email lists, even though you don’t read the emails they send. Unsubscribe from them and re-subscribe when you need the information later.
Some email requires your action or response, while other email contains information that you can read and safely discard. Create an email filing system to organize your emails based on what the senders need from you. For example, you can have one folder for emails that need action and another one for emails that need your response.
