How do I access my information after I've cancelled my subscription?

Hello alan-jennings,

Welcome aboard to the Community. I'm here to lend a hand with your concern about accessing your data from a canceled QuickBooks subscription.

You can still access your data by logging into your account using previous login credentials. However, please note that you only have read-only access for just one year.

I'm linking an article with additional information on this, such as length of time the system stores your data on the system:

What happens to my QuickBooks Online data after I cancel?.

In case you're having trouble signing in, I'm adding the support article to help you retrieve your password or user ID:

How to reset your password or recover your user ID.

I look forward to serving you to the best of my ability so let me know if you need further assistance with accessing your data. I'll be sure to get back to you.

How do I access my information after I've cancelled my subscription?

Hi I have tried to access my old account information but I am not allowed to access. I am told that I need to resubscribe. I am no longer self employed therefore do not need to do this . Just the historical information?

How do I access my information after I've cancelled my subscription?

Hello SusanBlackwood,

Thanks for commenting on this thread,

If you have the self-employed product but have cancelled the subscription and need to now get some information out of the account.  You will need to resubscribe to be able to access the information as the account doesn't go to a read-only status like our small business products does. Once you have taken the information you need from the account you can then cancel the subscription again if you do not need access to the account again.

We suggest you take all the information out you need before cancelling again because if you have missed somethings off and need to get them at a later date you will need to resubscribe again to get the information out and again then cancel if not needing to use the account still.
