Billing after closure of business

If I had closed my business on Jan 1, 2019 & no further payrolls were generated after Jan 11, 2019, how do I cease the billing for Intuit payrolls beyond that point? I have no active employees since beginning of year but am still being billed for services by Intuit payroll. Please advise at your earliest convenience.

We'll need to cancel your payroll subscription since you no longer run payroll, Fred. Otherwise, the system will still charge you for the monthly base fee.

Here's how to cancel your payroll subscription:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner and select Account and Settings.
  2. Select the Billing & Subscription tab and go to the Payroll section.
  3. Click Cancel and select Continue.
  4. Complete the cancellation process.
  5. Click Cancel Payroll Service.

With regards to your payroll subscription charges, you can reach out to our Customer Service Team. They can review your account and provide further details of the charges.

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right corner and select Contact us.
  2. Enter the details of your concern and click Continue.
  3. Choose how you want to reach them and enter the necessary details.
