There are things to consider before adding a new business in QBO, rva_rv_rentals. 

 

If the second business has a different Employer Identification Number, you'll need to sign up for a new QuickBooks Online account. It is because we don't want to mess up your reports, and it'll be easy for you to file tax returns. 

 

Here's how:

  1. Go to this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/pricing/.
  2. Choose a plan.
  3. Click on Add another company link.
  4. Enter your Intuit login credentials.
  5. Set up your second company account.

If the two businesses are under one EIN, QuickBooks lets you track them by using the Class or Location Tracking feature. However, this is only available in the Plus version. If you have the Simple Plan, you'll need to upgrade. Here's how:

  1. Click on the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Account and Settings.
  3. In the Billing & Subscriptions section, click on the Upgrade link.
  4. Choose the Plus version.
