Troubleshooting browser problems

If you're experiencing browser problems when visiting Intuit sites, there are a few basic troubleshooting steps you can perform.

Performing basic browser troubleshooting

As you start basic troubleshooting, try the following:

  1. Restart your browser.
  2. Clear your browser's cache.
  3. Add Intuit as a trusted site.

If you're still experiencing problems, try to enable Active Scripting (if using Internet Explorer):

  1. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
  2. Select the Security tab, then choose the Internet icon.
  3. Choose Custom Level.
  4. Select Enable, then choose Active Scripting.
  5. Select OK twice.
  6. Reset the browser to its default settings. (Note: This will change any customized settings that you have on your browser.)

Performing troubleshooting for download issues

If you're experiencing problems when downloading or finding a downloaded file you can:

  • Press Ctrl+J in any browser.

If this doesn't work, try changing the default location of the downloaded files. Follow the set of instructions for your browser type.
