Update item prices in recurring templates in QuickBooks Online

Learn how to turn on automatic item price updates in recurring templates.

Update an item price to all recurring templates it appears on at once. 

  1. Select Settings ⚙, then select Products and services.
  2. Find the item you need to update and select Edit.
  3. In Sales price/rate, change the price.
  4. Check the box, Update price in recurring template, too. (Note: If the checkbox didn't appear, you need to manually change the item price in the recurring template to match the new item price. Now, the checkbox will appear.)
  5. Select Save and close.
