You are asking about desktop but tagged as Online. Desktop 2019 certification are accessible from your pro advisor account AFTER paying $349 annual pro advisor fee.
If you instead are asking about the free online pro advisor program there is no 2019 program as it is not yet 2019. Program details https://quickbooks.intuit.com/accountants/proadvisor/?cid=ppc_G_e_US_.ASG_US_GGL_Brand_Core_Exact_Se...
Well, I am wondering too where my 2019 Desktop certification is. Normally, it was available latest in the Thanksgiving week. I am on auto-renew, payment never has effected availability. Customer Support told me, this certification is not available before 2019, which I do not believe.
Hello there, @Gretel.
Thanks for reaching out to the Community space. Allow me to step in for a moment and share some information about QuickBooks Desktop 2019 ProAdvisor Certification.
We recently received an update that our Support Team will be discontinuing the QuickBooks Desktop Advanced Certification training modules and exam, effective December 31, 2018.
Those who are currently QuickBooks Desktop Advanced Certified on or before the cutoff period will have their certification status extended for 3 years. Starting January 1, 2019, until January 1, 2022, the lifetime status will take effect and there will be no new QuickBooks Desktop Advanced Certification granted after this date.
To know more about the QuickBooks Desktop Advanced Certification Discontinuation, refer to this article: ProAdvisor Certification FAQs.
That’s it. Should you need anything else, let me know. I’m always here to help. Have a good day!
Intuit seems to quickly take our auto-renew payments in July 2018, then have the 2019 product available in October 2018, yet the 2019 exam is not ready and it is now December 4, 2018?
Obtaining the certification for Desktop QB ProAdvisor may not be worth it at this time.
That is truly sad, for that exam allows us old-timers to keep up our skills and assist new clients with the program. Right now I have clients looking for accounting software and I sure do not want to recommend 2019 at this time.
That is ONLY for the ADVANCED...not the regular QuickBooks Desktop Certification which is what has been asked over and over. Usually available in October for the following year. We don't have QBO clients...but we do have 450 desktop clients that we support. I guess I will contact Sleeter
Let me join in this thread so I can help you about the QuickBooks Desktop 2019 Proadivsor Certification.
MargauxInDenver is correct. Only the QuickBooks Desktop Advanced Certification will be discontinued on December 31, 2018, and we still offer QuickBooks Certification (Desktop version). Though this is not yet available, it should be ready early 2019 and you can access it in your Proadvisor account.
Feel free to visit this article for more details: ProAdvisor Certification.
Let me know if you have any questions, I'm here to answer them and help you out. Have a good day!
I dont think the question was about advanced. She, nor I, can find the 2019 DESKTOP regular certification. Its now December 12th. Accountants everywhere are hoping to get certified Before tax season. I need mind Before the end of the year. Where do we go to find it and download the (already paid for) desktop version???? Then take the test???? Where ??? Not in the proadvisor area as the prior version are.
This answer is not helping. You answered about the Advanced. No one asked about that. We need to know where to download 2019 Desktop software and where the certification test is on our proadvisor pages? They only show 2018 and prior. Certainly 2019 is out there somewhere. Certainly Intuit wouldnt be selling it in retail stores before allowing its paid advisors to get updated. Can you help us find it?

BEFORE clicking the link above for the 2019 QB Certified Exam I must question, WHY is that link going to the UK?
Also, if Intuit does indeed have the 2019 QB Certified ProAdvisor Exam available for DESKTOP QB, then why doesn't that show up in our current holders of QB Certifications?
Something is definitely wrong and Intuit is truly making it difficult to being a Certified ProAdvisor. They might want to wake up and start realizing the market share LOST if we Certified ProAdvisors start recommending other vendors.
Allow me to take over and get this resolved quickly.

The first link you show above is for a Sept 2018 webinar explaining what is new with version 2019, which I NEVER received. All the Certified ProAdvisors I spoke to ALSO did not receive any notice in Sept 2018 about version 2019.
Next - my Certified ProAdvisor certificates in my account show that I am certified 2018, 2017 and 2016. Of course I am certified since year 2003, but the ACCOUNT only shows three years.
I have the paid receipt that I have paid and downloaded 2019 ProAdvisor, so I am not sure what the heck you are talking about as far as "verifying my certification".
Why not admit that Intuit has dropped the ball and is LATE in getting the 2019 exam out to all of us Certified ProAdvisors. Give us a darn date as to WHEN Intuit will get their act together and offer the Certified ProAdvisor exam. OR, advise us there will no longer be an exam and we will go on our merry way and find a company who treats the accountants who are referring clients to their software.
I am not sure why this is happening, but whoever is in charge of Intuit's Certified ProAdvisor program really needs to understand just how much business we bring to Intuit. I just today sold Enterprise to a new client. So, again, I urge Intuit to get their act together and start telling us the truth as to WHEN the darn exam to get certified in 2019 DESKTOP version will be available and stop with all the obvious excuses. It is very unprofessional to say the least.

Thank you. I am hoping (along with many others) that the exam will be available BEFORE tax season starts. We tax professionals already have a crazy tax year ahead of us, it would have been great to have had this exam available in November like it has been for the past 15 years.
Hope to hear something soon.
For my business & myself, I would prefer to be doing the 2019 QuickBooks Desktop recertification between November & December rather than the beginning of 2019. Just so you know, the month of January is very busy with preparing & e-filing W-2's & 1099's along with all of the quarterly federal & state reports.
I ask Intuit,
Who in Intuit came up with this idea of getting the recertification exam out in the beginning of the new year???
This was not a good decision from Intuit.
Hi mtsquirrel and DianeOffutt,
We currently don't have the exact date when will be the QuickBooks Desktop 2019 Certification. The information we have is that it'll be released by the end of the year or first quarter of 2019. When it's already available, we will definitely send emails to you all.
If you have any questions, please let us know.
I got the email but still can't find the blasted 2019 QuickBooks Desktop Certification within
Pro Advisor in QuickBooks Online Accountant. The Email was dated 2/4/2019. It tells me
to Scroll down and select the 2019 Desktop Certification but all there is is QuickBooks Online training.?????
