Why is the Online Mac App now requiring password each time? Have uninstalled and reinstalled, still requires password.

Hello there, @dcc.


Thanks for visiting the Community. I’m here to lend a hand and help you stay logged in on your QuickBooks Online Mac app.


In order to remain logged in to your QuickBooks app, make sure to select the Stay Signed-in option. If it still keeps asking you to enter your password credentials after clicking it, I suggest resetting the app data.


Here’s how:

  1. Open and log in to the QuickBooks app.
  2. Click the Help menu at the top.
  3. Choose Reset App Data.

For your reference, take a look at this article: QuickBooks App for Windows and Mac: General support.

 

Once done, sign back in and select the Stay Signed-in option again. QuickBooks should no longer ask you to enter your login credentials every time you log in to the app.
