Any reason why the Macquarie Bank feeds no longer work?

I have tried disconnecting the link but when I try to reconnect the connection fails repeatedly (I have tried over a couple of days)

Thanks for sharing to me the steps you’ve taken to resolve the issue. Let me guide you in the right direction so you can re-establish the connection.


Ideally, the resolution steps should get the bank feeds working again. Since you’re unable to connect the account, we’ll have to trace where the issue is stemming from.


The process requires gathering of sensitive information. Since the safety of your account is our priority, I suggest you get in touch with our QBO Care Team.


They have tools to access your company in a secure environment. Once they’ve identified the cause, they’ll assist you on the process to reconnect your Macquarie bank.


To contact them:

  1. Go to Help at the top, then click on the Contact Us link.
  2. In the What can we help you with? window, enter contact support in the field box.
  3. Click on the Let’s talk button.
  4. In the Choose a way to connect with us section, select Chat or Call us.  


The information I provided should help you move forward.

Thanks I have spent over an hour via the Chat with QBO Customer Support, but we were unable to resolve this issue which impacts all 7 entities I run on QBO using Macquarie Bank accounts. With BAS due this week (Easter break has required the completion to be brought forward) my accountants are not happy at all being faced with the potential of having to do three months of manual reconciliation for seven entities.

Let's make sure to bring your transactions, so you can reconcile reconcile your bank account.

 

You can log in to your bank account outside QuickBooks, and download the transactions within the affected period. Then, you'll want to upload them to the Banking page. You can find the steps in this article: How to upload more than 90 days of bank transactions.

 

On the other hand, please know that you can still reconcile your bank account as long as you enter the transactions in QuickBooks.
