Bank Feed memory corruption error

Getting this error message in Bank Feed:

System.AccessVioIationException: Attempted to read or write protected
memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

QuickBooks might have detected an issue with the installed Microsoft component such as .Net framework. 


I'll give you the step by step solution to help fix this error. Before doing so, let's make sure to update your QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release.


Solution 1: Restart your computer and try to access the Bank Feed again.

  1. Close the QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Restart your computer, and then open your QuickBooks Desktop.
  3. Try to access Bank Feeds Center.

If you're getting the same error, then you can follow the next step.


Solution 2: Create a backup of your company file to prevent any accidental loss of data.


Here's how: 

  1. Go to File located at the top.
  2. Select Switch to Single-user Mode.
  3. Choose Backup Company, and click Create Local Backup.

Once done, we can do the Verify and Rebuild Data Utility. This resolves common data issues. 


Then, go back to the Bank Feeds center. If you're getting the same result, I'd recommend contacting our Phone Support Team. We will check what's causing this error.
