Checking register

Our check register in QB is showing that we are in the red.  No big deal since that happens from time to time showing us our profit gains and losses.  However, it is showing that we are in the red for 2 1/2 years, which is not true for our business.  There seems to be some sort of glitch in the system.  It has messed with our taxes and accounts for our small business because of it.  Is there a way to reboot or fix this problem?  We need to have this corrected as soon as possible.  Thank you

I can see that this post is tagged as QuickBooks Self-Employed.

 

The check register is only available in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop. May I know the specific QuickBooks version you're currently using?

 

I'd also appreciate if you can attach screenshots of the page where it's showing in red.
