try to import data from bank, but cannot match prior bank account

I try to use the bank feed to import data from my bank and the data I import cannot match my prior bank account. They are the same bank but cannot recognize.

Let's isolate the behavior by trying out some banking troubleshooting steps, lt49.

 

You can create a dummy account in the Chart of Accounts and merge it with your existing account. This is to fix the connection issue when you try to import the transactions.

 

Here's how:

  1. Click Lists at the top, and then select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Click the Account button in the lower left-hand corner and click New.
  3. Set up the dummy account similar to the existing one.
  4. Once done, merge the two accounts.

After doing this, import the transactions manually using Web Connect Files.
