Our office recently purchased QB Desktop Pro 2020, and two computers have the software installed.  One computer had QB 2018 installed, and all AP & AR were processed on that machine.

Now that we have two computers in the office with QB Desktop Pro 2020, we are ready to begin.  I know how to restore from a backup, but if I save the backup to a QB folders in our office server, can either QB Desktop Pro 2020 users restore from the same file?  In other words, if the CEO wants to pull up QB to see the latest transactions, pull P&L reports, adjust budget line items, etc., can he do that while the bookkeeper is also working off of the same company file?
