Add change an invoice

The invoice is done signed and work has been going on for a few weeks.  The customer wants to change a few items is there a way to do a work order change for customer to sign?

Re: Add change an invoice

Hi there, Abcarpenter.

For now, there isn't an option to indicate the changes in the work order or in the invoices for the customer to sign. You might want to use the Description or Memo fields to take note of the changes.

We'd like to hear thoughts about adding this type of feature in QuickBooks Online. Please send a feature request directly to our engineers so they can review it for future updates. Just go to the Gear icon and click Feedback

in QB an invoice is a  final sale, you should be using an estimate and when the work is done you invoice the customer

If you used an estimate you could add to it and there would be no problems in the accounting.  Since QBO does not have change orders, all you can do is add to the estimate or create a new one and call it change order, then invoice from both estimates
