Payroll subscription

I had to update the credit card information for my subscription for the payroll for KDD Construction, Inc. and it states its active but when I do payroll it doesn't take any taxes out. Please advise as to what needs to be done to allow me to do payroll.

A warm welcome to the Community, KDDODD.

I want to make sure taxes are being calculated so you can run payroll in QuickBooks Desktop.

 

It is important to download or install the latest payroll tax table in QuickBooks Desktop to ensure your tax table has accurate information.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Employees menu, then select Get Payroll Updates.
  2. Put a check in the Download Entire Update checkbox.
  3. Select Download Latest Update.
  4. A window appears when the download is complete.

If the employees are highlighted in yellow after the update, let's try to revert the paycheck. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. On the employee's name, right-click.
  2. Click Revert Paycheck.
