payroll

I was about to finish direct deposit, but I forgot my pin and got locked out. I exited it, but now I don't know how to go back and finish it. I don't know where to go to continue the same paychecks that will be a direct deposit.

 

When I try re-doing them in payroll, it says I'm creating multiple paychecks for the same pay date. How do I go back in and enter the correct pin?

You've come to the right place, @lacysmith.

 

Let me guide you through the steps on how to continue sending your paychecks and enter the correct PIN.

 

  1. Select the Employees menu.
  2. Select Send Payroll Data. 
  3. On this window, review Items to Send, then select View.
  4. Once done, select Send All.
  5. Enter your Payroll Service PIN, then click OK.
  6. Once completed, you'll be routed back to the Send/Receive Data window.
  7. Click View under Items Received to view payroll messages or Confirmation Reports.
  8. You can Print your report or message.
  9. Click Close.

There you go @lacysmith. You can now send your payroll in QuickBooks Desktop.
