It could be that the amount that you've deposited to your employee is the gross pay and your she receives the net pay. This is the possible reason why your she got less the amount of your deposit.

The records on Quicken shows a debit in the amount of $ 771.13 (net pay) but the deposit in my employees Bank Of America account is still $ 664.16.
