How do I get my clients who are showing as other QuickBooks companies to appear as clients on my QB Accountant online?

I hope you had a phenomenal weekend, @info164.

 

The companies which are listed under Other QuickBooks Companies are those that you're added on as a Regular User (non-Accountant). In order to resolve this, a Master or Company Admin will need to remove your Regular User from each company showing this way, then re-add you as an Accounting Firm. Here's how:

 

Removing a Regular User

  1. From QuickBooks Online, click the Gear icon (⚙) > Manager Users
  2. Click the Action drop-down ▼
  3. Select Remove User.

Once you've been removed from those companies, to have them listed as clients in your QuickBooks Online Accounting firm (QBOA), have the clients add you as an Accountant User:

 

Adding an Accountant User

  1. From QuickBooks Online, click the Gear icon (⚙) > Manager Users
  2. Click the Accountants tab > type the accountant's email in the bar.
  3. Select Invite. Follow the instructions in your email to accept the invitation.
