How to import Chart of Accounts templates
by Intuit•148• Updated 2 months ago
If you did not select a standard, pre-created Chart of Accounts when you created your QuickBooks Online company, you can import a CSV (Comma-separated value) template.
The available templates are organized by industry type. You can review the list to determine the template to select for your company, and then download the selected template from the QuickBooks Online Excel Import templates file.
To import a template:
- Open the following file to view a list of available templates:
List of Chart of Accounts templates for QuickBooks Online companies - Determine which template best suits your company.
- Open the following file and download the selected template from it:
QuickBooks Online Excel Import templates.zip (56kb)
