Add a credit card for billing

Learn how to add a credit card in Bill Pay in QuickBooks Online.


It's important to have your credit card information up to date for paying bills. In this article, we'll show you how to add it in your QuickBooks Online account.

Whether you're setting up billing for the first time, or adding a new credit card to use for billing, here's how.

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Select the Gear icon on the Toolbar, then Account and Settings (or Company Settings).
  3. Select Bill Pay, then Billing.
  4. Select Add Credit Card.
  5. Complete all required fields. Then select Save.
