QB Desktop Pro 2019 new install

I have uninstalled QB Pro 2017 Desktop and installed new 2019 Pro version, but 2017 version is still in Intuit folder. Should I remove it?

Re: QB Desktop Pro 2019 new install

This is your computer to manage. I leave All QB programs installed, even if I move data files up through the newer year program.

If you used the Uninstall Function, then what you see is residual folders; they might even be empty.

And since this is your computer, not ours, you need to know how you manage the filing system = files and folders, because we don't know what else you stored in that folder. Your company file might be there, for instance, if someone set it up like that.

Once you confirm it has nothing currently in use, and you uninstalled the program, sure, you can do the rest of the housekeeping.
