Reinstall QB

Hello. I reformatted my pc and I would like to reinstall QB. I have the license and product number but when I use them they do not seem to work. I did not remove the license from the first version. How can I fix this?

You can use the QuickBooks License Look Up tool to verify the license and product number. If you're asked to register QuickBooks and is unable to do so, please contact phone support. They will be asking for additional details to generate a validation code to bypass the registration.  

Here's how to get their contact details:

1. Open this link: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
2. Select QuickBooks Desktop, then select the version that you're using.
3. Click QuickBooks Setup and Navigation, then click Activate QuickBooks.
4. Click Get Phone Number.

Is there a way to look up the license without having the number? I am not sure who or when might have bought this license so it could prove difficult to hunt down the number.

You can log in to your account in the Customer Account Management Portal Site (CAMPS) website to view your license and product number. Here's how:

1. Log in to the Manage your QuickBooks web page and select the QuickBooks Desktop product tile.
2. Click the Details link to view your license and product code.
