Hello BB12,

Error code 2203 appears during program installation. It is caused by corrupt download or incomplete installation of QuickBooks, corruption in Windows registry, virus or malware infection that has corrupted Windows system, or another program mistakenly deleted QuickBooks related-files.

To fix it:

1. Conduct a full malware/virus scan of your computer. 
2. Update your computer drivers.
3. Install all available Windows Updates.
4. Uninstall and reinstall QuickBooks.
