Cancel your QuickBooks Self-Employed mobile subscription

We’re sorry to see you go. If QuickBooks Self-Employed isn’t the right fit for your business needs, you can cancel your subscription in the app store anytime in a few easy steps.

Note: For QuickBooks Self-Employed purchased from Intuit, cancel your subscription in QuickBooks.

Cancel a trial subscription

Your subscription cancels automatically at the end of the trial period without any fees.

Cancel a subscription purchased through the app store

Note: If you cancel, you still have access to your account until the next billing cycle.

Cancel on iOS (iPhone or iPad)

  1. Go to Settings and select iTunes & App Store.
  2. Tap your Apple ID, then select View Apple ID.
  3. Sign in with your Apple ID.
  4. Tap Subscriptions.
  5. Tap QuickBooks Self-Employed, then Cancel Subscription.

Cancel on Mac

  1. Open iTunes.
  2. Go to the Account menu, then select View My Account.
  3. Sign in with your Apple ID, then select View Account.
  4. In the Settings section, select Manage next to Subscriptions.
  5. Select Edit next to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  6. Select Cancel Subscription, then Confirm.

Cancel on Android

  1. Open the Google Play Store.
  2. Tap the Menu ☰.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Find QuickBooks Self-Employed, then select Cancel Subscription.

Cancel on Web Browser

  1. Go to
  2. Sign into your Google account.
  3. From the left menu, select My subscriptions.
  4. Select QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  5. Select Manage, then Cancel Subscription.
