In Quickbooks Online Accountant, you can now more easily identify which clients have been charged and the amount for each.
Each invoice may include:
Monthly charges for subscriptions that are active in your account, if applicable.
Pro-rated charges on clients added mid-billing period. When a client file is added to your wholesale account mid-billing period, you will be charged the pro-rated amount for the partial period and for the next month’s charge on your next billing date of month (BDOM). For example, if your bill date is February 1st, and you have added a client to your wholesale account on January 15th, you will be charged the pro-rated amount on February 1st for usage from January 16th to January 31st and February usage.
Pro-rated credits and charges for any clients who upgraded during the billing period. There will be a pro-rated credit for the unused portion of the previous subscription and a pro-rated charge for the new subscription for the remainder of the billing period.
Pro-rated credits for any clients who migrates out from your wholesale account during the billing period. There will be a pro-rated credit for the unused portion of the current billing period.
If your monthly activity results in a credit, you’ll get a adjustment note.
