I am using the quickbooks-2019 trial.

I am using the quickbooks-2019 trial.   When I try to list all the transactions or all the checks in only lists some of them.  Does the trial version have bugs so people can not use it for real?  Or is 2019 just more buggy than previous releases?

I am using the quickbooks-2019 trial.

It may or may not be a full version. It has two purposes and two only.

1. use to update an older version to import to QBO

2. try before buy

Do not use it and think you can convert to paid. It does not work that way. If you attempt to authenticate or register a trial version it will lock you out.

That being said, since a trial can update an entire existing company it can also access full reporting and data entry. You most certainly can open an existing company and view all records, so any and all records you enter using it as a sandbox should be viewable.

It's a fully functioning program. There is nothing about it that doesn't work, unless it is something all of us would need to pay for separately. You can even set the file to run payroll manually. What you have is a Trial Period License, not a Trial Program.

You can eventually Buy the program and put your owned license into the program, turning it into Owned.

What you didn't tell us is How are you trying to view this data? For example:

Reports menu > Here are the reports, such as Company & Financial > P&L Standard or Detail, and Detail shows the P&L side of all spending events (check transactions, credit card purchases, sales, bills, etc). Balance Sheet Standard and Detail. Go to the Banking submenu > Check Detail. Or, right click the Checking account from the Chart of Accounts and run a Quick Report (or Ctl Q) the see a Quick Listing, not an actual report.

Run the Sales Reports, the AR and AP Aging, etc. Run the Profitability reports, too.
