Import from excel to QB Self Employed



Anyone know if and how I can import transactions from excel into QB Self Employed?

Yes, I can guide you through importing transactions from Excel into the program. 


First, you'll need to save the Excel file into a .CSV (comma-separated values) format. Please see the screenshot below to serve as your guide. 



After that, you can import the .CSV file into the system. Here's how: 


  1. Go to the Gear icon at the upper right. 
  2. Under Transactions, select Imports
  3. Under Action column, choose Import older transactions on the right side of the account. 
  4. Perform the instructions onscreen to completely import your data. 
  5. Click Import.
