I am trying to import an IIF file into Quickbooks 2019 for Mac (trial edition). I am having some problems, and various sites indicate that there is an option called "Import without Review" and a link that says "Import it for me. I'll fix it later." to bypass some of the new 2019 data checking.
As reference, see the pages https://bigredconsulting.com/quickbooks-2019-iif-import/ or https://quickbooks.intuit.com/community/Help-Articles/Improved-IIF-Import-in-QuickBooks-2019/m-p/203... (see section "Note: We don't recommend the option Import it for me. I'll fix it later.")
However, I do not see this option when attempting to import. Is this option missing from the Mac version? Is there something I need to set in Preferences in order to see this option?
Hello there, @jsclev,
I appreciate you providing two links for me that serve as your references about your importing concern.
The "Import it for me. I'll fix it later." option is only available in QuickBooks Desktop 2019 for Windows users.
Please take note to first correct all your list entries before importing the IIF file. This is to ensure you're able to successfully import those into the program.
For more information about importing this file, here are great articles you can refer to:
You can also visit the User Guide to learn more about the processes using QuickBooks Desktop for Mac 2019.
This will get the information you need for today, @jsclev.
I'll be around to help if you need anything else. Wishing you and your business continued success.
Thank you so much for the reply. Every solution I could find online said to use that functionality, but it was very confusing because I didn't see that functionality in the Mac version. Question answered. Thanks again.
