Documenting tax withholdings

I am mostly self-employed but receive a very small w2 salary as well.  I have the full amount of that withheld to help with the taxes for the rest of my self-employed income.  How can I document this in quickbooks so that the estimated taxes I need to pay are accurate?

Re: Documenting tax withholdings

Here's how to record it in QBSE, stockly.

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Click Tax profile.
  3. Enter the amount in the Your annual W2 income field.
  4. Click Save.
