I am a bookkeeper and I opened my business in January of 2018. My clients have e-filed their 1099s but I can not view them. I received an email saying that they were ready but it doesn't take me to the 1099 just a self employed account that needs to be set up

When logging in to the 1099 E-File Service website, you’ll have to use the same User ID and Password for Intuit Account. This is to ensure that you can access the account.
If you're not sure if you have an Intuit Account, use the Forgot User ID feature to retrieve the credentials associated with the email address. Once you have the information handy, let's go ahead and access your account to view the forms.
If you have several clients, make sure to open the correct one to view the forms.

Since you've already received an email that your 1099 is ready, you'll need to log in to a QuickBooks Self-Employed account.
