Can I import the Customer Job Number for a bill in the IIF file? Is so, what heading do I use?
Thanks for reaching out to us in the Community, @dkrumholz.
I can share some information about importing Customer Job Number for a bill in the IIF file.
Yes, you can! Use the Name column on the SPL (line items on the bill) row to enter the Customer Job Number.
After that, save the file and import it to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). Here's how:
1. Make sure to login as Admin and you're in a Single User Mode.
2. Now, go to the File menu at the top, then pick Utilities on the drop-down.
3. Select Import, then IIF Files.
4. Locate and open the IIF file, then OK on the pop-up message confirming your data has been imported.
