My QB Pro 2019 froze while condensing data. It has been in same mode for over 6 hours. Can I stop condensing data or how do I close the program?

Running the Condense Data Utility Tool may take some time depending on the company file size, system, and internet performance. You can speed up the process by closing other working applications.


Stopping the tool while condensing is not advisable since it may cause data damage to the file. If it fails, you need to restore the backup copy.
