PDF invoice contains virus

I am running QuickbooksPremier Non Profit Edition 2018 on a PC that I only use for Quickbooks. Last time I used it was 2 weeks ago and it was fine.  Today when I try to send an email with a pdf invoice attached the mail server is being rejected by the email server with a virus error message. I have tried to send invoices via Gmail and also our main email provider and both are rejected with the same error message. If I delete the invoice attachment it sends the email so it appears the virus is in the Quickbooks pdf invoice.  This is the error message I get and I am not finding it on any Google searches.  I have scanned my PC with McAfee anti virus and nothing is coming up.

5.7.1 Virus Win.Exploit.CVE_2019_[removed]-0

Can you suggest anything? I updated Quickbooks today.

Re: PDF invoice contains virus

hi @ Mintoo ,

Please try these following actions:

1. Send one or two emails with any available PDF attachment, and

2. Convert one XLS file and one DOC file to PDF file, and send them as attachment.

Your PDF writer application might be affected by malware.

Re: PDF invoice contains virus

Thanks Fiat Lux! Looks like the issue is with the PDF reader and not Quickbooks. Now to figure out how to remove it!
