QuickBooks Pro 2019 Desktop Updates

Hi there, Waynet.

I'd be happy to lend a hand with changing the invoice due date.

The fields available on an invoice will depend on the template customization. We'll need to check the invoice template and make sure you enable the column for Due Date. Let's also double check the template selected when creating an invoice in the system.

I'm attaching screenshots below for your visual guide on the process.

Let's also make sure you're not using any terms when you create the invoice to ensure you're able to enter the due date.

For your shading concern, adjusting this option is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop. You may want to send feedback by following these steps:

  1. Click the Help tab at the top menu bar.
  2. Select Send Feedback Online.
  3. Click Product Suggestion.

Please get in touch with me here should you have any additional questions or concerns. I'll be here to help.

Thank you for you reply.

No luck with suggestions  I had already checked that.

I was pretty much forced to upgrade too 2019 and downloaded that.

I exported and imported my customer list and templates. If that has anything to do with it.

ATM not very happy with 2019

Thanks

QuickBooks Pro 2019 Desktop Updates

Welcome back to the QuickBooks Community, Wayne1.

In addition to @AlcaeusF answer, let’s try some new steps to change the due date of your invoice. Repairing your QuickBooks helps iron out issues you experience while using the software.

Before doing so, create a backup copy of the company file to keep a record of your transactions. Once done, follow these steps to repair QuickBooks.

Here's how:

  1. On your keyboard, press the Windows key + E to open the Computer window.
Note: In Windows 8, click on the Computer tab.
  2. Select Programs and Features. If necessary, choose Uninstall a program.
  3. Once QuickBooks is selected, click Uninstall/Change.
  4. In the QuickBooks installation window, click Next and select the Repair radio button.
  5. Click Finish, and restart your computer.
  6. Download the latest QuickBooks release.

Check out this article for more details about the process: Repair QuickBooks Desktop.

Please leave me a comment with an update about how things go. I want to make sure that you're taken care of. Have a good one.

QuickBooks Pro 2019 Desktop Updates

Hello again, Wayne1.

I appreciate your quick response here in the Community. I want to make sure we'll be able to fix the issue, so I'm here to provide you the support you need.

Since we've already done all the necessary troubleshooting to fix the issue with the Due Date field, I recommend contacting our Phone Support Specialists. One of them will be able to assist you further with performing some screen sharing to identify what's causing the problem to happen.

I'm adding some steps down below for you to reach them:

  1. Go to: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact#qbdt-select
  2. Select Pro or Premier.
  3. Choose a topic.
  4. Scroll down and click Get Phone Number.

Please don't hesitate to post a response about how this goes. I'll be on a lookout for your reply on this thread.
