Join nowI’ll Hello. I have a list of about 10 customers that I need to edit so I can have them listed as a sub customers. If I create a whole new set of sub customers the invoices won’t line up right. Is this possible?
Hi there, @BLSafe.
It's good to have you here in the Community. I'd like to help share some information about creating a sub-customer in QuickBooks Online.
Yes, you are correct. If you're going to create a whole new sub-customers the previous transactions that you've created will not sync to the new one. In your, case I'd suggest continuing editing the customer's details to keep your invoices intact.

To clarify I cannot edit current customers to change them to sub customers. Is this normal or is it because I use tablet or phone programs?
Thanks for getting back to us, BLSafe.
For now, editing your current customers and making them as sub-customers are unavailable using the mobile app. You can check this article to see the comparison between the mobile app features.
To edit your customers, you can use the regular browser on your tablet and follow these steps:
I've added some screenshots outlining the steps above.
