How to Record Bank Deposits in QuickBooks Online

I only accept ACH payments from my customers, so I only pay $1.00 per transaction with no month fees & no credit card fees. Can I process a payment from a customer who wants to pay me via ACH when he comes to my office?

You have three ways to set up an ACH bank transfer payments in QBO, stlogije.


Before you can start receiving ACH payments from your customers, you'd have to sign up for QuickBooks Payments. Once you have an active Payments account, you'll be given three options to record the customer's ACH payment. You can either use:

  • Sales Receipt
  • Receive Payment
  • Recurring Transaction
