I cannot run a Government Credit Card... It gets Voided right after  run it.... Wierd and cannot figure out.... Individual says his card is good & must be on my end... Help

 Allow me to share insights why your government credit card has been voided and get you to the right direction. 


By default, QuickBooks Point of Sale (POS) accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and AMEX types of credit cards


Here are the some of the possible reasons why your customer's credit card has been declined: 


  • If you're entering an address, you only need to enter the street number. Confirm that it does not have any special characters (e.g., ç, é, ü, etc.) or multiple sets of numbers (123 Adams Ave 456).
  • Some credit cards, like flex spending cards, can only be processed through certain business types. 
  • Call for a process and capture a voice authorization to confirm that you can charge the card.

Checking the government credit card information needs pulling up your account. This requires sharing sensitive data and as this is a public forum, I'd suggest contacting our Merchant Services Care Team. This is the best team for such inquiries since they can help with figuring out why the credit card has been voided.
